[English below] O 2º encontro anual do Jesuit Global Leadership Summit aconteceu virtualmente entre os dias 30 de julho e 06 de agosto. O Summit, evento aberto para alunos de 14 a 18 anos e professores de escolas jesuítas do Ensino Médio do mundo todo, tem a missão em comum de explorar colaborativamente soluções para os desafios e injustiças encontradas como uma comunidade global.

Cada encontro virtual teve duração de duas horas e meia e iniciou com um momento rápido de reflexão, seguido com uma fala de convidados. Depois, reunidos em grupos, os estudantes participaram de discussões e atividades.

Representando o Colégio Anchieta, as professores Juliana Castiglia Brundo e Daniela Moraes acompanharam os estudantes Carolina Nunes (turma 101), Lauren Soares (turma 105), Maria Eduarda Dapper (turma 104) e Luisa Cavalheiro (turma 201).

Os alunos ficaram muito felizes de participar e estar em contato com outros jovens da mesma idade e de diferentes partes do mundo. Eles descreveram a experiência como muito especial, resultando em corações cheios de alegria.

Students participate in the Jesuit Global Leadership Summit

The second annual Jesuit Global Activism Leadership Summit took place virtually over the course of 5 days-July 30th, August 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 6th. The summit is open to students (male or female, 14-18 years old) and teachers from secondary Jesuit schools across the globe to gather with a common mission and vision to collaboratively explore solutions to the challenges and injustices we face as a global community.

Each virtual meeting lasted 2 hours and a half and began with a brief reflection followed by a speech given by guests. After that, the students were divided in groups to talk and do the activities planned for those days.

The students who took part in the event were: Carolina Nunes (class 101), Lauren Soares (class 105), Maria Eduarda Dapper (class 104) e Luisa Cavalheiro (class 201). The teachers who joined the event with the students were the English teachers Daniela Moraes and Juliana Castiglia Brundo.

The students were delighted to participate and be in touch with students their age from different parts of the world and described this experience as unique, which filled their hearts with joy.
